My professional journey has been a diverse tapestry of experiences that have shaped the way I approach e-commerce, digital performance, and customer experience. In my current role as an E-commerce Executive at OKA I work across trading analytics, content accuracy and customer behaviour, partnering with business and technical teams to translate requirements into delivery. I support UAT, drive content and attribution fixes, and deliver optimisation changes that improve conversion and operational accuracy.
One of the most impactful parts of my time at OKA has been contributing to the replatforming of our e-commerce site from Magento to Shopify. This transition required adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to balance technical and commercial needs. Being involved in such a large-scale change taught me how platform architecture shapes performance, user journeys, and long-term growth. It also gave me hands-on experience in testing, identifying platform limitations, and ensuring a smooth customer experience throughout the migration.
Before moving into the UK e-commerce space, I built and scaled my own online venture, MarvelousGrrl—an experience that remains incredibly meaningful to me. Running an e-commerce brand from scratch taught me how every part of the digital journey connects, from product curation to inventory management, customer communication, and fulfilment. I learned how to interpret customer behaviour, design experiences that resonate, and make small optimisations that can significantly improve engagement and sales. Navigating the challenges of entrepreneurship helped me develop resilience, agility, and strong commercial instincts that continue to guide me today.
Internships with early-stage startups such as HeyCoach and AI4SEE further shaped my understanding of how digital products evolve in fast-moving environments. These experiences encouraged me to adapt quickly, experiment with new ideas, and stay curious.
